Our flagship product - IgnitionDesk was created after a number of years spent working with and around members of the helpdesk industry. Service desk applications on the market failed to assist support staff in real world situations.

Tyler McDowall is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ActiveMotionLabs. A young and creative entrepreneur and software developer, who began his software career early in life, during his freshman year in high school, he attended an internet/web design class, quickly moving to advanced HTML, PHP, and Flash. By the end of his freshman year, he was aiding in teaching advanced HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL. After his freshman year, he had been nominated as the only student of 1,600 to attend that year's National Youth Leadership Forum on Technology. During his sophomore year, he started working at a local government IT helpdesk.
After high school, Tyler started work on what would be now known as IgnitionDesk in his free time late at night and during the weekends. In 2008, he began working for another government agency as a Microsoft SharePoint developer. | |
